Walking into Goshtana felt like stepping into a royal palace. The soft, golden lighting, intricate Mughal-inspired patterns, and the welcoming aroma of spices transported me instantly to a world of elegance and indulgence.

It wasn’t just another restaurant visit—it felt like I was about to have a special experience.

The staff greeted me with big smiles and were so kind. They made me feel welcome right away. As I was shown to my seat, I noticed two types of seating: elegant dining tables with comfortable chairs and a traditional floor setup with cushions and low tables. I chose the floor seating—it looked cozy and felt like stepping into the past, where meals were enjoyed in a traditional way.

When I looked at the menu, I saw so many delicious options, but one dish stood out—the 1-Meter Kebab. I had heard great things about it and knew I had to try it. While waiting, I soaked in the relaxing atmosphere. Soft music played in the background, and the smell of food cooking in the tandoor made me even hungrier.

Then came the star of the evening—the 1-Meter Kebab. It was beautifully presented, with vibrant colors and a smoky aroma that promised a burst of flavors. When I took my first bite, I was amazed. It tasted just like something my nani (grandmother) used to make. It was tender, flavorful, and filled with spices that reminded me of home.

I also tried the Butter Chicken, which was creamy and full of flavor, and the Dum Pukht Chicken Biryani, which was aromatic and perfectly cooked. Every dish had its own unique taste, and it was clear they were made with love and care.

The staff made the evening even better. They weren’t just serving food—they were making sure I had the best experience. One of them explained the story behind the 1-Meter Kebab, and even the chef came out to ask if I was enjoying my meal. It felt personal and genuine, like I was dining with family.

To end the meal, I tried the Phirni, a sweet and creamy dessert that was the perfect way to finish. It was so satisfying that I couldn’t stop smiling.

As I left Goshtana, I realized this wasn’t just about food—it was an experience. The flavors, the cozy setting, and the kindness of the staff all came together to create something truly special. I know I’ll be back soon because some places leave a lasting impression, and Goshtana is definitely one of them.
